The triangle is actually a nod to Kingdom Hearts. Because I was talking about how I wanted a limit break of sorts for the last panel, and my friends started laughing and saying I was getting much too into Kingdom Hearts. XD
In the game, to react to the choice of doing a limit break with a party member, you have to click the triangle button (which flashes green between the two of you)
